This time, you can get cozy with sandworm popcorn bucket as a couple. AMC Theatres has revealed follow ups to its most infamous movie tie-in merchandise for Dune: Part Three.
If you thought popcorn at the movies couldn’t get any more exciting, think again! AMC Theatres is stepping up their game with the release of new merchandise for “Dune: Part Three,” and let me tell you, it’s not just your average popcorn bucket. Nope, we’re talking about sandworm-themed buckets that are not only eye-catching but also come with a unique twist—literally!
First up, we have the “Sandworm Thumper” bucket. Now, if you’re wondering what the heck a thumper is, it’s not a cute bunny from a Disney movie; it’s actually a device used in the Dune universe to attract those massive sandworms. So, grab your thumper, but just remember, if you start attracting sandworms in the theater, you might want to keep your popcorn close.
Then there’s the pièce de résistance: the “Double Sandworm” bucket. Yes, you read that right—two sandworms! This design is not only visually striking but also serves a practical purpose: it’s designed to make sharing popcorn easier. Because nothing says “I love you” like offering someone half of your popcorn while both of you awkwardly reach for the same handful. It’s basically a test of your friendship.
These collectible buckets are riding the wave of popularity that the previous “Dune: Part Two” popcorn bucket enjoyed, which even made a cameo on Saturday Night Live. I mean, what’s next? A cameo on the next season of The Bachelor? “Will you accept this sandworm?”
Now, let’s talk about the business side of things. AMC is clearly banking on these buckets to boost their revenue, and honestly, who can blame them? Moviegoers have shown a willingness to splurge on unique merchandise in the past, and these sandworm buckets are no exception. They’re like the limited-edition sneakers of the cinema world—everyone wants a piece!
So, whether you’re a die-hard Dune fan or just someone who enjoys a good bucket of popcorn while watching epic space battles, these new offerings are sure to make your movie-going experience a little more memorable. Just remember to keep your sandworms close and your friends closer—especially when it comes to sharing that popcorn!
In conclusion, if you find yourself at an AMC theatre this fall, be sure to check out these fantastic sandworm popcorn buckets. They might just make your movie night a little more fun, and let’s face it, who doesn’t want to say they shared a bucket with a sandworm? Just be careful not to spill any popcorn; you might attract a worm or two!
