Hold onto your slime, folks! The 2026 Kids’ Choice Awards are just around the corner, and guess who’s stepping up to host this fabulous event? None other than the internet sensation himself, Alex Warren! Mark your calendars for November 14th at 8:30 p.m. ET, because this year, the awards are making history by airing on CBS alongside the classic Nickelodeon broadcast. Yes, you heard that right – get ready for some serious multitasking with your remote!
Now, let’s talk nominations. The usual suspects are back, but with some seriously star-studded contenders. Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Sabrina Carpenter are leading the charge, and honestly, can you think of a better trio to take home a blimp? They’ve got more hits than a piñata at a birthday party, and it’s going to be a fierce competition.
But wait, there’s more! The Kids’ Choice Awards aren’t just about music. This year, they’re celebrating everything from film and television to gaming and sports. So whether you’re Team Swift, Team Grande, or Team Carpenter, there will be something for everyone to cheer for. And let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good slime shower? It’s basically the highlight of the evening and a rite of passage for anyone in the spotlight.
For the first time ever, the awards will be available for streaming on Paramount+. So if you miss it live (which, let’s face it, is almost impossible with all the reminders your phone will send you), you can catch all the slime-filled action later. Just don’t forget to keep your snacks handy – we all know that watching kids get slimed is an appetite-inducing spectacle.
As the date approaches, keep an eye out for more updates on nominees and categories. Who knows? Maybe there will be a surprise appearance or two, because nothing says ‘Kids’ Choice Awards’ like a celebrity popping up unexpectedly to get covered in goo.
So, are you excited? Will you be tuning in to see Alex Warren’s hosting skills and the inevitable chaos that ensues? Get ready to vote for your favorites and prepare for a night of fun, laughter, and a whole lot of slime. It’s the Kids’ Choice Awards, and it’s going to be a blast!
