Another way to watch the Florida vs. Georgia game for free is with YouTube TV ’s trial. The service carries ABC in both of its packages. These start at $71.99 a month after the trial, but you’ll get a discount for the first two to five months.
Are you ready for some football? The University of Georgia Bulldogs are set to clash with the Florida Gators in what is affectionately known as the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” – and no, it’s not just a fancy name for a gathering of college alumni. This year, the rivalry is heating up at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and you won’t want to miss it. So, if you’re wondering how to catch the action without emptying your wallet, you’re in the right place!
First off, let’s talk about the teams. The Bulldogs are ranked third nationally, which is impressive, to say the least. Meanwhile, the Gators are coming in at a respectable seventeenth, so we can expect some serious competition on the field. Who knows? This could be the game that sets the stage for a dramatic season finale. Or, you know, a total blowout. Let’s hope for the former!
Now, about that free viewing – because who doesn’t love the idea of watching a high-stakes game without paying a dime? The game is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ABC. This means you’ll have a couple of options for watching it online without needing to subscribe to a cable package. Here are some methods that could help you catch all the action:
1. ABC’s Website and App: If you have access to a TV provider login (maybe you’re still using your parents’ cable credentials? No judgment here!), you can stream the game live on ABC’s website or through their app. Just make sure you’re not using it during a family gathering unless you want to explain why you’re suddenly invested in college football.
2. Hulu + Live TV: If you’re one of the cool kids who has ditched cable for a streaming service, Hulu + Live TV offers ABC in its lineup. They usually have a free trial for new users, which means you could potentially watch the game for free while enjoying all the other content Hulu has to offer. Just remember to cancel before the trial ends, unless you want to start paying for that subscription you forgot about.
3. YouTube TV: Similar to Hulu, YouTube TV also includes ABC in its channel offerings. They often have a free trial as well. So, if you’re looking to binge-watch some football and then get lost in cat videos afterward, this could be your best bet. Just be sure to set a reminder to end that subscription before it turns into a recurring charge.
4. FuboTV: This one’s a bit of a hidden gem for sports fans. FuboTV is primarily focused on live sports and includes ABC in its package. They also offer a free trial, so you can sign up, watch the game, and then promptly forget about it until the next game rolls around. Just don’t get too attached to FuboTV; it’s a commitment you might not want to make.
5. Local Bars and Restaurants: If you’re feeling social (or just want to be around people who are equally invested in the game), consider heading to a local bar or restaurant that’s showing the game. Many places will have the game on in hopes of attracting hungry and thirsty fans. Plus, you can enjoy some wings while you cheer for your team. Just be prepared to deal with the crowd, which can be a wildcard in itself.
So there you have it! Several ways to watch Florida vs. Georgia online for free, or at least for the price of a couple of beers if you go out. This rivalry is sure to deliver some exciting moments, and whether you’re rooting for the Bulldogs or the Gators, you’ll want to be part of the action. Grab your snacks, find a comfy spot, and get ready for a game that promises to be anything but boring. And remember, if your team loses, there’s always next year… or at least a good excuse to drown your sorrows in nachos!
